Kicking off on June 11 at New York's Nassau Coliseum, composer AR Rahman is planning on taking the sounds of Bollywood and Indian music to over twenty arenas across the planet. His creative team includes producer Deepak Gattani and creative director Amy Tinkham, who has worked with Mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. The A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour aims to theatrically present a variety of traditional Indian music styles, relying as much on the visual stimuli as the sounds being created on stage. The concert will also feature material that Rahman was working on with Michael Jackson before his death last summer. It will also include songs from 'Slumdog Millionaire,' 'Lagaan,' 'Dil Se' and 'Rang De Basanti.' While more dates are to be announced, is a list of concerts that have been confirmed can be seen after the jump.
