1. New is not necessarily better. I really miss the "classic" style.
Where is the old SHOUTcast Classic (black) website?
SHOUTcast Radio is constantly evolving. Because of this, we have had to retire the old platform to make way for all the exciting new features we have in store for SHOUTcast 2.0.
Really? You should have talked to me then before implementing your "new" design. I could have helped you with that. BTW, just ask MS how all the "changes" in W7 is working out for them.

2. Web page looks better....that's the good news. The bad news is that finding the stream you want is cumbersome beyond belief.
The old interface was efficient....you saw the station, what was playing and could select listening or going to the station site.

5. Dont like this at all. It is way too confusing for the average listener. Go back to the old setup . It was more efficient , much easier , and less Governmental looking !

6. By the way . . . .Since when is ShoutCast associated with AOHELL ? Thats SAD ! I may go to OGG now. AOHELL is an uncaring , typical SUIT type company with no regard for people unless they are spending money on them , and even then the regard is very little !

Yea that's what i want to know!!! I love shoutcast and use it every single day. It was much easier to load up new staions using the default player popup so i could load *.pls files from the browser.
Please bring this feature back.

11. I don`t like the new style of the site. I'm searching for stations and now I only found 4 !?
In the old style I found 20 or more stations with the same word.
That's not a good change.
Changing to a new style or system is not necessarily better.

12. Why did you build a site so confusing you have to provide a tutorial? Fire everybody that had anything to do with the new site and go back to the old. No I don't want Winamp or your own player.

13. this new layout is ok. i'm using winamp v2.91 and all my bookmarks work fine, and it plays any .mp3 you can throw at it. everyone should setup their PC like mine and stop complaining about awesome free software.

14. ShoutCast should give us back the old black directory style. This new change is terrible!!!!
I am very very mad at the ShoutCast designers and managers to allow this change.

15. I have a Onkyo Receiver and would like to play SHoutcast via my reciever which is Internet Capable. Is this possible, how do I go about it. Tried just loading the www.shoutcast.com address but the receiver says cannot find the server. Pse assist.

16. This new layout is so bland! Please go back to the older better layout, where one could choose what color (skin) they wanted to view the home page in.
Also, where is the option to change what media player is used to play as default?
You can from the comments a a tremendous amount of people prefer the old layout.
When I first saw this new shoutcast layout I typed the website two more times in the website bar to be sure I really was at shoutcast.

18. I've just come back to SR after a few months awaym - goodness gracious how HORRIBLE the new browser is !!! Bring back the old black screen - that was so-o-o easy to navigate. And now I get'... parent has died ...' messages and the ripping just hangs. Come on guys - I paid my forever subscription and no I get nothing but hassle

20. I agree with the disappointed replies. I had barely just found this sight and have been looking all over for the 'other screen'...at least there is sgreement on one thing....the other one was so much cooler and informative...this one looks like a throw away. what's up with shoutcast? or is it winamp? or is it aol? or is it cbs?
