1. Hey there Derek! First of all congratulations for the successful roll-out of the new SHOUTcast 2.0! I'm sure it was a lot of work. It made the website look and feel more modern. But above all it looks "clean" now.
Great work.
And of course, as it was with the previous SHOUTcast design update, a lot of people will complain about the new design. As it is: people don't like change and when it happens you will always have opponents. So don't worry too much about the haters.
Keep up the good work.
All the best,
Firax from Holland

6. How do I get this new version of SHOUTcast to scroll artist id and use the spectrum analyzer on the WINAMP interface? I liked minimizing the browser and just having the winamp skin on my desktop.

12. I can no longer use Winamp!!
What the heck happened? Catastrophe!!!

13. Ok, I found out how to enable Winamp.
IT'S REALLY HIDDEN AND OBSCURE THOUGH!!!
Some tiny link at the bottom left, "Settings".
Come on guys, nobody tested this on real users? This is one of those settings that should be right there in the face of the user at all times.

14. You say "we heard you loud and clear"? Then hear this: we wanted improvements to the old interface (which presented a lot of information about stations in a nice, compact, easy-to-browse format), not for it to be totally trashed and replaced with this ugly, clunky, user-unfriendly, ad-centric beast.
This is the New Coke of internet broadcasting.

15. Don't know what to say actually...just maybe yesterday it still looked black. I think I prefered the dark colors, but anyway At the beginning I "prefered" the old shoutcast 1.0, then get used to the new version; probably the same will happen now.
I have to say: I LOVE THE BAR PLAYER!!! I really loved the flash player, but this is totally superior. Best regards and success; you rock!
P.S: could you promote yourself a bit more in latinamerica? I think that is mostly what I miss, more stations with music in spanish

16. overall it looks more professional, but maybe there should be an option for having a darker background, now it's to white, especially when it's dark outside, the white stands out and I don't like that

18. Wow guys. What a wonderful job. Especially the BELOW PLAYER is such a pleasing thing.
Can you by the way keep the black site up also please??? I used to love to skin it, or give me a black option here also?
But beside that I love this. Also so easy to find what you want. Thank you SHOUTcast!!!

20. hi there,
just to give you some positive feedback for the changes on the v2 release. its a very clean and easy to use platform.
Just as a sidenote, i was used to the black bg, usually shoutcast goes late with me on my coding sessions, and the dark bg would follow more easly the ambient of my office. Nothing that a code hack would solve but having it as a setting, would be a must.
Congrats from a Portuguese (easy)Listener!
