Reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy debuted at #2 at this week's Billboard Latin Albums chart, just behind Daddy Yankee's heavily promoted album 'Mundial.' With the release of 'El Momento,' the Puerto Rican duo has earned a spot in Reggaeton's vastly competitive market. After relatively unsuccessful solo careers, the two collaborated on a few tracks and realized the enormous potential of teaming up. Last year, the duo was signed under the very exclusive WY Records, the label formed by Wisin y Yandel.Jowell & Randy might not be as revolutionary as Calle 13 or as fun as Alexis y Fido, but they are the new fresh face of reggaeton as a movement and an enterprise. 'El Momento' is filled with flashy, sweaty tracks including guest spots by Cultura Profetica, Cosculluela, Franco El Gorilla, De La Ghetto, Javiah, Gadiel and Guelo Star. Also in the album are the genre's most successful duo Wisin y Yandel, who are doing a great job serving as the guiding godfathers of Jowell & Randy's budding career.
Listen to first single 'Loco' after the jump.
