Mad Cobra Released From Hospital, New Details Emerge on Shooting

Mad CobraJust a few days after he was shot and critically injured in Portmore, Jamaica, dancehall singer Mad Cobra has been discharged from the hospital, according to the Jamaica Observer. After being initially admitted to a hospital in Spanish Town, Cobra was transferred to Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of the West Indies, where he's been receiving treatment for the past two days. Now, however, a source has confirmed that the dancehall legend "is resting comfortably at home."

Police officials say they're currently investigating reports that Mad Cobra got involved in a dispute with a group of men, who were reportedly upset after Cobra flashed his headlights directly in their faces while he was driving. According to early reports, the artist tried to calm the situation, before one of the men shot him. Voicemail's Oneil Edwards, meanwhile, remains in stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit at Kingston Public Hospital. Edwards was shot multiple times just one day before Cobra's incident.
