Andres Calamaro Eyes a Return to Rock With

Argentinean rock icon Andres Calamaro has surprised his fans with a return to the marketplace. The acclaimed singer-songwriter hopes the release of 'Calamaro on the Rock,' an album he recorded in Madrid, Buenos Aires and Miami, will bring him back to cutting-edge Rock after he successfully jumped to pop music for his last album, 'La Lengua Popular.'

The singer of classics like 'Flaca' and 'Estado Azteca' announced the album features collaborations with some of his friends and favorite artists; from Bunbury and Calle 13, to El Cigala and Los Fabulosos Cadillac's leader Vicentico. 'Calamaro on the Rock' will also mark his return to vinyl. His first single 'Los Divinos' has already a hit in Spain and is quickly crossing its way to Latin America. The album will be out June 1 via a transnational simultaneous release.
