Last weekend, glam rocker Adam Lambert came under some pretty heavy heat from one observant Twitter user, who accused the former 'American Idol' star of copying Tokio Hotel lead singer Bill Kaulitz's avatar image. Instead of brushing the comment aside, though, Lambert responded to the user (who also happens to be a Tokio Hotel fan), retweeting the message and saying, "Ha. Was inspired by Elvis." And that was just the beginning.
As NeonLimelight reports, Lambert apparently took the accusation to heart, and went on to say, "I was rockin this hairdo when bill still had his lions mane...all this copycat talk is dumb." Lambert further pointed out that he's "Been wearing eye makeup and nail polish since that boy was like 12 or something... No ones copying... Just so happen to have similar taste." Fully aware of the "fan riot" to which his fightin' words might give rise, Lambert went on to encourage that both groups of fans calm down, and "spend your energy more wisely."
21. Ok. If I look at the picture send by FurImmerKaulitz, yes, the whole outfit is styled allmost the same way. They both have combed their hair like mohawks, the jewelery as well as the shoes look very similar and of course the jeans are exactly the same. Well, I find it quite natural that people who obviously like the same kinds of clothes and design jeans can accidentally wear identical jeans which just happen to be like the newest "must-have" jeans from their favorite label at that time. So that doesn't bother me at all. I think that many celebrities get caught wearing same outfits and quite often actually. But the problem is that the whole styling seems to be similar. And yeah, that kinda gives me the copy feeling also. However, I don't think that this is really Adams fault. I mean, do you really think that he would copy the whole look like that? I think it's his stylists fault. Maybe the stylist is newbie with this kind of looks for his/her clients and knows only how much Adam likes Bill's style (I mean Adam has been saying that in so many interviews!) and went just a bit too far when searching inspiration for Adam's outfit. But otherwise, this hair thing (mohawk, elvis and the big spiky one), black nails, black make-up and even all black outfits are old things and used by many artists before both Bill and Adam. IT IS NOT an unique invention by Bill OR Adam. Do you remember for example the Cure and the lead singer Robert Smith? Well he has had definitely the big black spiky hair and the black make-up before Bill and Adam. And Cher actually had even bigger hair than Bill at the 1984 Oscars. And what about Marilyn Manson and his black eyed look?;) Or all the 80's rock bands with their huge hairdoos, and 70's glamrockers? Maybe they are Bills and Adams style influences too. HAA, and OLA SALO from the Ark has had the black hair with white stripes for a long long time, so maybe Bill has copied HIM?? Grrrrrr.. Just kidding. Fortunately it's so much easier to have and unique outfit when you're not a celebrity. We can just by our clothes cheaply from second hand shops and flea markets, or even sew them ourselves. Then we are actually more individual looking than our dear idols who have to buy the same expencive stuff than all the other celbrities and end up looking same. Just remember, taking influences and even buying some of the same stuff when building your own outfit, is not copying. But when the whole package seems to be styled way too similary, then I think it's no wonder if some people are thinking copying... Celebrities should by more vintage clothes and mix them with their high fashion labels. Maybe then they wouldn't allways look the same.

22. Concidering Adam is older than Bill, and has had the look longer, I'd say that Bill is the copycat.. But otherwise than that..
For my case, I don't think either of them copy.. They have some similarities.. But come ON guys.. Be grown up.. Bill doesn't OWN that look you know.. Unless he paid thousands of dollars to BUY that look and can claim it as his, no one has the right to pin this on Adam.. AND... Adam is HIMSELF!! Not Bill.. Sure, he likes Bill.. But he doesn't copy him.. Bill owns NO right to that look, and neither does Adam.. Adam and Bill are perfectly allowed to have their own look.,.
I think it's sickening how people can blame someone they don't even know.. I don't like TH, but I don't try to blame them either.. Please be more grown up people.. Neither of them are in a feud, they don't have similar music taste whatsoever.. And they're both great in their own way..

24. I am a huuuge Adam Lambert fan,so I can tell when he copies someone.And he is soooo not copying Bill! Adam has his own style,even though they look alike.So what? Who gives a damn? We should focus on their music,not Adam's sexuality or the fact that he likes Bill bla bla bla...!
