After he recently appeared at Robert Mugabe's birthday celebration, Jamaican dancehall star Sizzla was reportedly given a large plot of land in Chegutu as part of his reward. According to the ZimDaily, the artist is now intent on settling there, and using the land to build a youth development center. He also says he'll set up agro-industries for Zimbabwe's youth. It's also worth mentioning that Sizzla is currently wanted in his native Jamaica on weapon charges, which has led many in Zimbabwe to question whether or not he should be allowed free settlement. The ZimDaily also points out that many have cited Sizzla's case as another example of the government's inconsistent policy of issuing work permits to immigrants. Apparently, Sizzla's papers were filed and he received his permit in record time.
