News around M.I.A.'s new 2010 album has been brewing for a while now, ever since she released a new single and track from the album back in January. Today, though, things really heated up, as the Sri Lankan singer not only released a provocative new video from her album, but announced an official tracklist for her new record, as well.As Pitchfork reports, M.I.A.'s epic, nine minute video certainly isn't for everyone, and it's certainly not suitable for work. The video, directed by French director Romain Gavras, features plenty of violence, a lot of guns, and a general sense of dystopia that might not be everyone's cup of tea. Point is: definitely click with caution. Shortly after she announced the release of her video on her website, though, M.I.A. took the helm of Pitchfork's Twitter page to announce, via screenshot, the official tracklist for her new album, which is expected to drop this summer.
As the artist has pointed out on her Twitter feed, her new video has already been banned on YouTube in the U.S., presumably because of the extremely graphic and violent subject matter. But you can hit the jump (at your own risk) to check out the video, and the tracklist.
