Grace Jones is one of the most stylistically innovative pop stars from the last half of the 20th century. By many accounts, the always eclectic Lady Gaga has assumed her mantle for the 21st century. Jones, though, thinks that there's a little bit too much similarity between herself and Gaga. And she doesn't think it's coincidental.In an interview with The Guardian, the Jamaican born singer said that Gaga owes her a little credit for her style. "I've seen some things she's worn that I've worn, and that does kind of piss me off," Jones said. Lady Gaga, for her part, has actually requested to work with Jones -- without much success. "I just don't play with other acts as a rule," Jones explains. "I'd just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually." Jones insists she doesn't "think about her at all," and when asked if she thought Gaga was talented, she responded simply, "I wouldn't go to see her."
