After two unsuccessful attempts at making bail, dancehall artist Bounty Killer finally received a bail of $200,000, while appearing before a judge at Kingston's Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday morning. As the Jamaica Observer reports, Friday's decision comes after Bounty Killer (real name: Rodney Pryce) spent a full two weeks behind bars under allegations that he beat up his girlfriend, Kadeem Baker. As we reported last week, his previous attempts at bail were all rejected after police reported that Pryce had been threatening Baker's life. After hearing Friday's news, a group of Bounty Killer's supporters celebrated outside the courthouse, where he is slated to return on June 29.
