Whether or not Bombay-based music director Pritam Chakraborty purposefully chose an all-male collection of singers for the soundtrack to accompany Parmeet Sethi's 'Badmaash Company' may be open for debate. With four original songs and two remixes, the album is already receiving praise, so this Bollywood musical oddity may just leave its mark yet.Shot in four locations -- New York, Philadelphia, Bangkok and Mumbai -- 'Badmaash' contemplates the rise of consumerism in India, before Western tendencies took hold of the nation. Four young entrepreneurs take hold of the American model and apply it in India, quickly rising to financial success. The fast-paced sountrack is meant to mimic the lifestyle they were living, featuring vocals by KK, Mohit Chauhan, Krishna, and a Sufi-rock track by Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
