Smirnoff announced yesterday that as part of their "Smirnoff Experience™ Mashup Street" festival planned for May 15 in Johannesburg, South African indie band BLK JKS will collaborate with the master of all Ibizans, DJ Tiësto.The collaboration comes in the wake of a series of high-profile collaborations between the European DJ and global pop and hip hop stars like Nelly Furtado, Three 6 Mafia, Calvin Harris, and Tegan & Sara, and will be the culminating result of a back-and-forth exchange between him and the South African quartet, who are known for their mix of contemporary rock influences and traditional Kwaito music and jazz.
