Her forthcoming album 'Flesh Tone' may not be in stores for a while, but singer Kelis has already made waves across global charts with the success of her song 'Acapella,' the first single off the album. Produced by French DJ David Guetta, the single, as Kelis told MTV, has a truly unique sound. "It's very 'last woman standing,'" the artist said. "It's like the end-of-the-world child type thing. It's got all these ethnic influences in it. There is a Native American element to it and an African element to it and an Asian element to it. It's really tribal and kind of surreal at the same time."The full-length studio album is currently slated for a summer release, but Kelis will be releasing a special EP titled 'Acapella: The Remixes' on April 6. The EP, as MTV reports, will feature dance remixes from Guetta and other top mix artists, including Italian producer Benny Benassi. Check out the official 'Acapella' video after the break.
