J. Tune Entertainment told Newsen that Rain is returning to "bedroom theater," a phrase Koreans use for their highly addicting soap operas, this fall. They are not able to disclose the specific details yet, but Rain was last seen in 'A Love to Kill,' a 2005 KBS drama. During the 5 year hiatus from TV, his busy career has taken his reputation from Korea's sweetheart to world entertainer. He made some movies, starring in auteur Park Chan Wook's eccentric sci fi romance 'I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK' in 2006, then Hollywood films 'Speed Racer' in 2008 and 'Ninja Assassin' in 2009. Rain's representative said, "Rain wants his next project's subject matter to be less dark." On the 15th, Rain wrote on his official website, "Most recently, I have done many roles that has been serious and intense. So hopefully, in the next drama or film, I want to show my more sympathetic and caring side for the fans." On April 1st, Rain is making a huge comeback with his special album and starting his 2 month tour.
