The eclectic and energetic Matias Aguayo has enjoyed international acclaim for his album 'Ay Ay Ay,' currently a sensation in Europe and Latin America. Aguayo's skills with electronic rhythms and vocal diversity have profiled him as one of the most anticipated artists at this year's SXSW. 'Ay Ay Ay' is particularly appealing for combining traditional Latin music with contemporary techno music. The Chilean-born artist has maintained an international career due to his strong ties to Germany (where he was raised) and his current home in Argentina. Recently, he created the label Comeme, an effort to distribute and showcase some of Latin America's most talented electronic acts including Argentina's DJs Pareja and Mexico's Rebolledo.
The 37 year old musician has just premiered his first video for the single 'Rollerskate,' a hypnotic visual fest that shows Aguayo's strange personality and peculiar vision. Aside from his May 19 performance at SXSW, he is currently on a minitour across the U.S.
