JPOP boy band Arashi took top honors at Japan's 24th Gold Disc Award show. Asahi reports that the group was given the grand prize of Artist of the Year, but they also broke the record for single awards given with nine other prizes.The group took home top honors with the Album of the Year award for their collection 'All the BEST! 1999-2009,' as well as Single of the Year 'Believe/kumori nochi kaisei.' If that wasn't enough, Arashi also received another album award, four other single awards and a best DVD award, all based on sales data.
