SSTV reported that the KPOP girl band 2NE1, who debuted only last year, took home the most awards from the 2009 Cyworld Digital Music Awards Show, held the afternoon of March 1st at Seoul Olympic Park. 2NE1 won 4 golden awards, proving to be the best girl group. The awards include, Best Rookie Group of 2009, 2009 Best 10, Top Selling Hit Song (for 'I Don't Care'), Top Selling Best Artist Award.
Upon receiving the Top Selling Artist Award, 2NE1's Dara said, "Considering we're so new, it is an honor to receive so many awards. I thank the fans so much."
The most awkward moment of the show took place when 2PM members Changsung and Junho took the stage to receive one of the Best 10 awards. Fans started to yell "Jaebeom," the name of 2PM's exiled ex-leader, who obviously was not present at the ceremony.
