JYP Entertainment Ends Contract with 2PM's Jaebeom

JYP EntertainmentJYP Entertainment, who manages the 7-member KPOP boy band 2PM, wrote a letter on their website today (February 25), announcing the termination of their exclusive contract with Jaebeom, the band's former leader. The band's fan club, Hottests, are outraged as they were privy to comeback rumors. According to ALLKPOP, JYPE's secret plan was to have him return to the band in April 2010.

In their online letter, JYPE stated:

"On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to a Jung Wook representative that he had done something wrong during 'Again and Again' promotions...far more serious than his MySpace controversy. On January 3rd, 2010, everyone of us (along with the members) sat down for a discussion and came to the agreement 3 days later that it was no longer possible for Park Jaebeom to continue activities along with 2PM."

In response to the letter, 100 Hottests are protesting outside JYPE's building.
