The Nigerian rapper 9ice, a.k.a. Abolore Akande has had quite the week. During The Future Awards, his once and now apparently ex-wife introduced herself in his presence as Toni Payne, without the rapper's surname. While the news of their separation was announced earlier this year, this was the first strident public exclamation of what was an implied divorce.Soon after that event, 9ice released another single to the world called 'Safaware,' featuring M.I. While sites like Truspot speculate that the beef is in response to Isolate's 'My Turn,' let's not forget the accusations of plagiarism 9ice was facing just last week.
His third album 'Versus' is out in March.
