Hollywood royalty and adopted Parisienne Sofia Coppola has always had an obvious soft spot for French culture--she did, after all, marry Phoenix lead singer Thomas Mars. Now, as Spinner reports, she's even gone so far as to recruit her hubby's group (and France's hottest band) to do the soundtrack for her next feature film. Fresh off their historic Grammy win, Phoenix is apparently wasting little time in getting back into the studio to work on the score for the new film, 'Sometime.' According to Mars, the work will be "very minimal," and said the writing process differed starkly from their normal recording studio routine. "It wasn't like writing songs," said the singer. "It was more about trying to make a sound that fits with a Ferrari and the city of Los Angeles' theme. It was more of an engineer work than a composer."
