Just as video game companies understood the necessity of the transition into hip-hop and club music instead of digitized blips and bleeps, Bollywood has recently begun decorating their playback scores with more electronic soundtracks. As Bollywood World reports, two forthcoming films--'Karthik Calling Karthik' and Mumbai Cutting'--underscore the point."It's a transition of the Indian film industry in Mumbai," Midival Punditz member Tapan Raj states. Along with Punditz member Gaurav Raina, the duo has been hard at work cracking the cinema industry code. "They have started accepting and appreciating different styles. Cinema goers now appreciate variety. They like cutting edge music and international standards rather than typical film music."
While the Punditz prepare for the release of their soundtrack to 'Karthik Calling Karthik,' the band Euphoria is readying the score for 'Mumbai Cutting,' a series of eleven short films by eleven different directors.
