Phoenix, David Guetta Do France Proud at Grammys

Phoenix and David Guetta

The two French sensations who made arguably the biggest splashes in 2009, Phoenix and David Guetta, both came home happy from last weekend's Grammys. Phoenix, whose 'Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix' album drew rave critical reviews last year, became the first French group to ever garner the Best Alternative Music Album, beating out the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Brian Eno & David Byrne, Deathcab for Cutie, and Depeche Mode. Not to be outdone, DJ David Guetta took home the Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, for 'When Love Takes Over,' featuring Kelly Rowland.
