Sizzla Released from Jail

After reporting of rumors that dancehall star Sizzla was behind bars following a police criminal investigation, Radio Jamaica is now reporting that the Jamaican artist has been released, and according to his manager, he's not facing any charges.

Sizzla, whose real name is Miguel Collins, was reportedly taken into custody last week after police suspected his involvement in a series of shootings that took place in August Town. Following the arrest, law enforcement officials took fingerprint samples to determine whether or not Sizzla was directly or even tangentially involved in the incident. Now, however, it seems that his name has been cleared, following the brief police interrogation.
