Sunmi, the 18-years-old member of KPOP's top girl group, Wonder Girls, announced she is leaving the outfit. Allkpop reports that many fans blame their producer, Park Jin Young, for her announcement, with the common perception being he pressured the girls too hard to break into the U.S. market. Sunmi had to quit high school in Korea to tour 50 cities in the U.S. this past year.
Sunmi is officially quitting Wonder Girls in February 2010, but she hopes to make a comeback after she starts college.
