Even though we'll all have to wait until summer to hear M.I.A.'s newest album in its entirety, Spinner reports today that the Sri Lankan artist has given the world a sneak peek at what we might expect, posting a piping hot new music video directly to her Twitter account. In a marked change from her acrimonious tweet barrage against the New York Times earlier this week, the singer treated her legions of Twitter followers with a clip for the single 'There's a Space for Ol Dat I See.' As you can see in the video after the jump, the spot is, like the artist, palpably unconventional, featuring a 'Lite-Brite' like array of green lights that outline her as she dances to the relatively low-key track. It may not give us any better idea of how she plans to incorporate Filipino Verizon workers into her album, but it should at least tide fans over until the full opus hits stores.
