EXILE Makes Biggest JPOP Debut Of 2009

The year may be winding to a close, but the JPOP charts got an end of the year jolt this week with the release of EXILE's new album. In the latest publication of the list of best selling albums for the past week, EXILE and their latest album, 'Aisubeki Mirai e,' not only came out on top, but recorded the biggest opening for any original album for all of 2009, selling 730,000 copies. That total just edged out Mr. Children's 'Supermarket Fantasy,' which moved 709,000 in its first week. Though many expected EXILE to come out on top, few could have expected quite this impressive a debut.
