Rotten Sound Signs to Relapse

Finnish grindcore group Rotten Sound has just inked a record deal with Relapse Records, NoiseCreep reports today. The move comes as a major boost to the quartet, which plans to release its next EP, 'Napalm,' in 2010. In a recent press release, lead vocalist Keijo Niinimaa colorfully commented on the new union, saying "We will fit to their roster like a fist to an ass." He later added that the group's "next full-length album will start a new and (even) more aggressive era for Rotten Sound." The group has collaborated with the Philadelphia-based record company in the past, re-releasing their 2005 album 'Murderworks' under the Relapse label. With their forthcoming album, and hopes of a worldwide tour, things are looking pretty bright for Niinimaa and his bandmates.
